Yoga to Turn Around Any Bad Day

We all know yoga is calming and breathing is good for getting you back to your ‘center’ – wherever that is – but not all of us have time for a full yoga routine on a busy stressful day.

Don’t fret. Here are some great pick-me ups to lift your mood.

Just do some of these great de-stressing exercises and you’ll be back to your normal sunny self. Just warm up by standing and twisting from side to side, it’s super easy and great for getting out any bad vibes, use your exhales to expel the negativity, inhaling through your nose.

This is very therapeutic and feels great. Be sure to close your eyes not to get dizzy! Next go through a few basic sun salutations to get your breath moving.

Take a locust pose, laying tummy down on the mat, clasping your hands behind your back and go into a back bend, opening your chest and your heart, with your toes touching.

From there go into shoulder stand, breath, blood reversing in flow. Stay in as long as you like, restorative benefits include increase in mood, metabolize and more blood flow to the brain. Softly relax your back down now you’re ready to take on the day.
