The wait is finally over. BTS is officially coming home, and they’re bringing the entire world with them. In a ground-breaking partnership with Netflix, the global icons have announced a massive multi-part comeback that blends traditional Korean heritage with a futuristic global stage.

The Album: A Return to Roots

On March 20, BTS will release their highly anticipated fifth studio album, ARIRANG. Inspired by the soul-stirring traditional Korean folk song, the album explores themes of identity, homecoming, and the unbreakable bond between the septet and their fans. After recording in Los Angeles, the group is ready to show how their journey abroad has only deepened their love for their roots.

The Event: A Night at Gwanghwamun Square

The celebration hits a fever pitch on March 21 at 8 p.m. KST (4 a.m. PST) with the exclusive Netflix live concert, “BTS THE COMEBACK LIVE | ARIRANG.” Streaming live from the historic Gwanghwamun Square in the heart of Seoul, this isn’t just a concert—it’s a global milestone. Directed by Hamish Hamilton, the visionary behind legendary Super Bowl halftime shows, this event marks Netflix’s first-ever live broadcast from South Korea.

“This is more than a performance; it’s a national festival,” says the Mayor of Seoul. “We are thrilled to welcome the world to the heart of our city to witness the power of BTS.”

The Film: BTS THE RETURN

For the fans who want to see what happens when the cameras aren’t flashing, Netflix will premiere the documentary film BTS: THE RETURN on March 27.
