Step into a world of breathtaking design with Icehotel’s stunning new suites for 2025
The iconic Icehotel in Sweden is back and more breathtaking than ever! Located in the picturesque village of Jukkasjärvi, 125 miles above the Arctic Circle, this year’s Icehotel 35 is ready to dazzle guests with its extraordinary art suites and stunning sculptures, crafted by 26 talented artists from 13 different countries.
Each year, the hotel is rebuilt from scratch using 550 tons of ice and 10 Olympic swimming pools’ worth of snow, making it a true winter wonderland. This season, guests can marvel at jaw-dropping creations such as a short-sighted rhinoceros crashing through a wall, a cozy immersive bird’s nest, and even an entire underwater world. These imaginative works of art bring a touch of magic to the frozen hotel, leaving visitors in awe of the creativity that goes into each room.

One of the standout features of this year’s Icehotel is its iconic Main Hall, which has been expanded to nearly 100 feet in length. Visitors can now admire the shimmering crystal chandeliers, created from 220 handcrafted ice crystals, adding an extra layer of elegance to the experience.
Not to be outdone, the hotel’s Icebar will transport guests on a space journey, where they can sip cocktails alongside a life-sized ice astronaut. And for those planning to tie the knot, the new Ceremony Hall is an enchanting venue, designed to host weddings and events in a setting full of icy floral beauty.
The 12 art suites are equally as captivating. Each room tells a unique story, like the “Give Us a Kiss” suite, which features lively animals in the Swedish woods, or the “Nacken” suite, which immerses guests in the magical underwater world of a Nixie, an aquatic creature from folklore.
Temperatures inside the Icehotel stay around minus five degrees Celsius, so guests will need to bundle up to fully enjoy these frozen masterpieces. Once inside, though, it’s all about adventure! Snowmobiling, Northern Lights tours, and ice-sculpting are just a few of the exciting activities on offer, giving guests the perfect chance to explore the majestic Arctic landscape.
For anyone dreaming of a winter escape unlike any other, Sweden’s Icehotel is a must-see destination this season.
