Michelle Obama Talks About Being An Inspiration To Others!

Being A Positive Light

Alright Bella’s we all know that there has been a lot going on in the world and it’s hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel with so much negative news surfacing. Day after day it seems like there is a new breaking news story about inequality, war, and so much more. However, in the midst of it all first Lady Michelle Obama has made it her mission to speak out and talk about the importance of being a positive role model and a leader to inspire change during a panel at SXSW Music for #62MillionGirls.

It’s all about being an inspiration to others. Being that role model to those who need it the most. The emotion of love and hate is learned, it is not a hereditary gene. You learn over time by the people who you surround yourself with how to feel, act, and love. And if you don’t have someone who inspires you to be a better person day after day it becomes very hard…but this is how everyone can pitch in and help.

Being a role model to people in your family, neighborhood, community, is so important because that’s where change takes place, it’s where it all begins. Being a support system of those around you who may not have been so lucky to have people support them is what really matters. We are only here for such a short period of time and we want to teach those around us to love and respect one another as we’re all human beings and all here for the same reason.

So go out and inspire someone in your community and be that positive change you wish to see in the world! How are you helping out in your community we want to know!
