Actor Sam Heughan takes a journey with his father Graham McTavish to their homeland of Scotland for the latest STARZ travel series “Men In Kilts: A Roadtrip with Sam and Graham.” This travel series will follow a journey with a son and his father exploring the rich culture of Scotland while learning more about their homeland.

Scotland is known for rolling hills in the countryside and making whisky dating back to the 11th century, but you’ll learn some surprising Scottish culture. The national animal of Scotland is the unicorn as a symbol of power and purity of Scottish nobility dating back to the 15th century.

You might recognize the host Sam Heughan from the British-based STARZ series “Outlander” that films in Scotland, making him the perfect host for the show. Heughan will be joined by his dad visiting sites of historical and cultural significance along with exploring some of the less-known traditions of Scotland.

This travel series being hosted by Scotland natives provides a unique travel experience between father and son as they explore their knowledge of Scottish culture while learning more about their heritage. “Men In Kilts” also takes a page from the “Top Gear” travel series using multiple means of transportation through Scotland including motorcycle, RV, bike, boat, and more.

Sam and Graham explore the majestic landscapes of Scotland also tasting some of the best dishes across the region. The best part of “Men In Kilts” is watching the hosts develop a strong family bond, ending the day with a sip of whisky.
