While we don’t all have massive bucks to spend on getting the many ‘it’ items for spring, but there are a few trends we just can’t let pass us by. Here are Katy Perry’s stylist Johnny Wujek’s list of his top 5 spring essentials for us to splurge on… I mean, invest in wisely.

One of the essential items for spring that everyone’s going to be rocking is florals. They’re coming on even stronger this season. Floral dresses, floral accessories, everything tends to have that floral hint again this season.

Right now, everyone’s been wearing white. This summer everyone should have at least one good solid pure white look, it could be a cute little dress or a fun skirt already in the back of your closet, but a white ensemble is a must.

Now’s the time to have fun with our fashion! Be quirky and silly. Bring humor into a look with accessories, your beach bag, your backpack, your clutch, find something with a sense of humor and rock it!

Neons are huge, they’re popping up everywhere, on the runway, on the street, when fashion editors are wearing it, you should too.

Try bringing it in with accessories, in a bathing suit, or it could be just a top. You should definitely have some essential neons in your wardrobe.

Lichtenstein and pop-art things that are super deco and colorful are on the runways this spring, art-deco prints that stand out and shout like a big face, a big bold print, big bold colors and blocking, art pop is amazing for spring!

One reason spring is so wonderful is because the fashion changes, everything goes from dark to light, there’s less clothing, fun bathing suits, and even more fun accessories, so enjoy these fabulous styles!
