Looking for something for your next holiday party or get together? Don’t want to eat the usual but also don’t want to get takeout? Try a plate of Chicken Pizza Toast! It’s sure to be a hit no matter what the occasion. And the best part? It only takes a few ingredients, more than half of which you probably have in your kitchen pantry as you read this.

Start by heating oil in a pan and saute some chopped garlic. Once the garlic is golden brown and soft, add in some shredded chicken. When the chicken and the garlic mesh together and the chicken is warm, add in pizza sauce. The pizza sauce will become the base for the chicken pizza toast.

While you are cooking the chicken, you can begin to prepare the toast portion of the recipe. Take two pieces of your favorite bread. Any kind is fine, even regular sandwich bread. If you do use regular bread, you should cut the crust off to preserve the pizza-like taste and feel. Once you have your bread prepared, you can put the chicken on it. Make sure you cover the entire piece of bread so you don’t get any dry and flavorless spots on your pizza.

Next, top with your favorite spices and put on the most important ingredient- cheese. You can use whatever cheese you like, but for the real pizza feel, I would opt for mozzarella or a pre-mixed pizza cheese blend. When you have everything prepared, put the mini pizzas in the oven or a toaster oven until they are golden brown and the cheese is bubbling.

The end results are perfect mini pizzas with flavorful chicken and perfectly melted cheese. These are sure to be on everyone’s shortlist for their new favorite party food.
