Golden Globes Hosts Tina Fey, Amy Poehler Roast Bill Cosby

If there were ever two ladies up for the job of making a scandalous joke at Bill Cosby’s expense and starting the Golden Globes off with a bang, it’s Tina Fey and Amy Poehler. In their opening jokes on Sunday, it took them 9 minutes to get to this description of Into The Woods to open the cracks:
“In Into The Woods, Cinderella runs from her prince, Rapunzel is thrown from a tower for her prince, and Sleeping Beauty just thought she was getting coffee with Bill Cosby.”
Amy and Tina then broke out their best Cosby impressions, Tina saying Bill Cosby had finally spoken out to a reporter saying, “I put the pills in the people, the people did not want the pills in them” and was then admonished by Amy … who said it went more like “I got the pills in my bathrobe and I put them in the people.”

Their routine drew shocked faces from the audience, but honesty it’s Tina Fey and Amy Poehler? They should have known better. These ladies aren’t ones to shy away from the hard stuff, like Bill Cosby impersonations.
