Kate Middleton’s Hat Designer Collaborates with MAC Cosmetics

We love it when the beauty world and fashion world play together! That’s why when we heard that MAC cosmetics was doing a collab with Philip Treacy, London’s leading couture hat designer and personal designer for Miss Middleton herself, we had to get our Bellas the dish.
Treacy is known for his fantastical creations that are regularly worn by Duchess Middleton and our favorite style star, SJP. The MAC x Philip Treacy collection is going to be a marriage of his iconic hats and MAC’s signature bold makeup products.
For this line, he created three new hats that emphasized different parts of the face – the eye, the lip and the cheekbone – then used elements from each hat’s design to create the makeup collection.
- Lipstick – inspired by the colors of his feathered head dress, these three shades of lip color, No Faux Pas, Cardinal and Cerise are sure to wow
- Eyeliner – these pro-long wear paint pots channel Treacy’s black lace face mask that only reveals one eye in new shimmering metallic and tropical blue hues
- Highlight Powders – we cannot wait to get our hands on these pale pink & silver inspired by an architectural glittering hat from his archive
