Ok, we’ll admit it, this year’s Met Gala theme “Rei Kawakubo/Comme des Garçons: Art of the In-Between” left us giddy and curious, very curious in fact. Don’t get us wrong, we LOVE the work of the esteemed fashion goddess Rei Kawakubo (serious, look her up, she’s GOLDEN). But, her impressive body of work left us serious wondering about just how Hollywood’s elite would envision their homage to her on the cream carpet.
Well, let us just take a moment to tell you that this year’s Met Gala was BEYOND PERFECTION, (and no, it’s not just because Rhianna killed it, yet again!). It’s just that this year’s Met Gala was everything that a fashion lover’s heart beats for. Drama, glamor, imagination, elegance, it’s all here (yippie!!).
