One of the biggest trends on the runway was brightly colored eyeliner. Chanel really owned this look. With bright in-your-face colors like neon-oranges, bright purples and electric-greens while other designers kept their statements a little more accessible with the ever flattering and wearable blues and golds.
Blue eyeshadow is a universally flattering shade, which is why we see is all over the red carpet every season on skin tones ranging from Lupita Nyong’o to January Jones.
When you do a bright color on the eyes you want to keep the rest of your face as muted as possible so do a nude lip and then just accent the eye with black mascara. Get ready to be the pop at any party!
