Not many will speak about the hardships they face during pregnancy, but Cardi B is too real to stick to the normal talking points when it comes to anything, much less pregnancy. Creating life is no easy task. For a lot of women, the changes that come along with pregnancy can be overwhelming. The “Bodack Yellow” rapper went to Twitter to share some of the weirdest symptoms she experienced:
“Ok soooo one thing I don’t like about pregnancy is there weird, crazy, spooky dreams I am having. I hate them. I be waking up in the middle of the night out my naps . Is the weirdest things ”
Leave it to Cardi B to make all pregnant women feel heard. One of the more common occurrences women comment on during pregnancy is the dreaming. Of course, with hormone production comes plenty of changes, both physical and mental. According to The American Pregnancy Association, “While pregnancy dreams remain a source of mystery in many scientific fields, there are many possible reasons why this change in dream patterns occurs.” The APA accredits these dreams to two likely culprits. The first is the increase in hormone production, that can cause the way your brain processes emotions to change. Another possibility is the change in your sleeping habits. Whether you don’t get enough sleep or sleep more, your sleeping pattern changing can definitely cause some interesting dreams.
