Breakfast bars are a quick and easy way to get your morning meal in, but no need to buy the kind that have been sitting on a self in a box for a month or more. Make your own fresh, chewy and satisfying breakfast bars with this simple recipes.

1 can of condensed milk
1 cup rolled oats
1/4 cup shredded coconut
1/4 cup dried goji berries
1/4 cup dried cranberries
1/4 cup pumpkin seeds
1/4 cup sunflower seeds
Zest of one orange
Here’s What You Do
Heat oven to 250F and grease a baking dish. Heat the condensed milk in a saucepan until it has thinned a little. Watch closely to ensure it does not burn.

Combine the remaining ingredients and pour over the milk. Stir to coat everything. Press mixture into the pan, smoothing out so it is even, with greased fingers if necessary. Bake for 45 minutes for a chewy texture or 60 minutes for crunchy. For extra sweetness serve with honey drizzled over top of the bars.
