You’ve probably heard of a bullet journal, the trendy system for logging daily goals, making lists and jotting down thoughts. The Notebook

First thing’s first, channel your old school supply shopping days and get yourself a cute little notebook. I suggest getting a blank notebook as opposed to lined, and looking for one that has thick and sturdy paper. You could also look for one with grid paper to help you keep your lines and shapes straight and need as you draw.

Get Some Good Pens

You definitely need some good pens to get the creative juices flowing. Get a good ball point pen in black ink, as well as some other colors to keep things colorful and bright. The Pilot G2 series of pens is fantastic and affordable. If you want something with a larger color range, consider the Staedtler Triplus Fineliners or Paper Mate Felt Tip Pens.

Use a Symbol Key

The first page or two in your journal should be a key for the different symbols you use. These could be marks events, tasks, completed tasks, important dates and more. That way your journal is consistent all the way through.

Get Creative!

Let your doodles free! Get coloring, doodling and drawing. Use charts, grids and lists to keep things neat, but feel free to get creative with all that other blank space. here are some great examples for you!
