At just over 20 weeks on the Billboard charts, four of those at the coveted #1 spot, Lizzo has definitely become an overnight phenomenon. But what exactly is it about Lizzo that has people buzzing and bopping?
In a recent interview with Billboard Magazine, Lizzo shares how she came up with her unique style and how she came to own it. When she first started out, Lizzo considered herself to be a successful artist.
But as she progressed in the music industry, she found that she could cover a wide range of genres and styles; all of which she embodies in her stage presence and musical stylings.
“I can do anything, you know? You want a polished, choreographed performance? You want a wild rock ‘n roll show? You want to feel like you’re in church? I can give you that,” she recently told Billboard Magazine.
