Recent studies have shown that women nowadays are actually marrying men with less intelligence than them (and let’s face it, most men are really dumb). In a society that grew based on women marrying up into a family of royalty, it’s time for a complete role reversal. Women, get ready to take charge.

Just because you want children or a happy marriage means you should jump at the first guy that seems stable. Being alone is actually a lot more healthy than being with the wrong person, especially if they don’t meet your educational standards. Having stimulating, intellectual conversations is super healthy for relationships and help strengthen the bond between you and your significant other.

The most important reason to never settle? Life is always changing, and you need to be there to change with it. Settling can almost be looked at like a ball-and-chain around your ankle. You can’t move forward if you’re stuck with the wrong person, and its going to stunt your growth as a person.

Being picky or stuck up may seem selfish, but can be valuable points in making your decision for a partner. There’s nothing wrong with knowing what you want and not settling until you find it.
