New York’s Time Square will host the traditional ball drop on the “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve” broadcasted on ABC with host Ryan Seacrest as well as co-hosts Billy Porter, Lucy Hale, and Ciara. This year the traditional New Year’s Eve celebration will be hosted with no audience in response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
Despite not hosting a live audience the New Year’s Eve celebration will feature special guests and performances to celebrate this annual event in New York City. The event didn’t want to attract the large crowds of hundreds of thousands of people as is the annual tradition so there will be a limited audience of essential and front-line workers with their families.
