New York’s Time Square will host the traditional ball drop on the “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve” broadcasted on ABC with host Ryan Seacrest as well as co-hosts Billy Porter, Lucy Hale, and Ciara. This year the traditional New Year’s Eve celebration will be hosted with no audience in response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

Despite not hosting a live audience the New Year’s Eve celebration will feature special guests and performances to celebrate this annual event in New York City. The event will feature special guests including the president-elect Joe Biden and future first lady Jill Biden that will celebrate the new year by addressing America. The night will also be filled with special performances and surprise guests.

Jennifer Lopez will be celebrating the 10 year anniversary of her first performance on the New Year’s Eve special on ABC and wants to celebrate New York. Co-host Billy Porter will be performing with singer Cyndi Lauper. Megan Thee Stallion, Jimmie Allen, Doja Cat, Machine Gun Kelly, Miley Cyrus, and more surprise guests will also be performing counting down till the New Year.

The “New Year’s Rockin’ Eve” special will be airing on ABC starting at 8/7c p.m. and will be providing entertainment all night long.
