Tasty Pizza Toppings You Need To Try

Bella Breakdown

Pizza is always good. Like, always! I don’t think I have ever had a pizza slice I didn’t like. And there is nothing wrong with a classic slice of cheese or pepperoni pizza. YUM! But it is true that if you add the perfect toppings to your pie, it can make your pizza go from zero to a hundred in a millisecond.

Cliff Skighwalker, owner of Cliff’s Pizza and host of Instachef, is a pizza lover through and through. He has same fab recommendations for toppings that you absolutely need to try out ASAP.

1. Ham and pineapple (gotta love that classic sweet and salty, island taste.)

2. Pepperoni (Seriously? Did this have to go on the list?)

3. Black olives and mushrooms (talk about umami and salt out the wazoo without even putting meat on the pizza!)

7. Sausage and peppers (Bring me to Chicago please!)

6. Roasted veggies (It’s still not healthy even though you’ve got veggies, but it IS caramelized.)

5. Bacon (Honestly, you can combine it with literally anything. Try it with some figgy figs.)

4. Salami, sweet sausage, and sopresada (Meat lovers, unite!)

3. Barbecue chicken and red onions (Stop. I can’t even handle how good that sounds. He recommends putting some chicken under the cheese so it doesn’t burn.)

2. Banana peppers and pickled onions (I agree! B-peps are secretly the bomb on pizza.)

1. Shrimp pizza (WHAAAAAT?! Cliff swears by it, so I’ll try it!)
