Travel Trends To Try This Year

Bella Breakdown

If you are planning on traveling at all this year, there are some travel trends that you might want to try to enrich your overall experience. Here are some ways people have been traveling this year that has made their time even better:

1. Solo Travel
Traveling alone is a great way to immerse yourself into the culture of whatever country you are visiting. You are also on no one else’s time but your own. It might seem a bit daunting, as the world can feel scarier than ever, but there are plenty of ways to remain safe and still travel alone. Let friends and family know your itinerary. Go into a place with wi-fi every now and then to check in, and let people know where you are. If you are staying in a hotel, let staff know where you’re going and when you plan on being back.

2. Multi-generational/Heritage Travel
Traveling with parents, grandparents, and children altogether is an amazing experience. All parts of the family are experiencing a unique traveling experience. If your grandparents or parents are immigrants, it might be a great idea to visit the country they were born in. That way you are experiencing the memories of their childhood. Even if you don’t go with the whole family, another trend is to travel back to countries that your family came from to get a better understanding of your heritage.

3. Travel By Train
Traveling by train is a great way to see amazing sites, and even experience meeting other people. Trains may be the long route, but they’re typically cheaper and more scenic than most means of travel. You’re also not the one driving, so you can sit back and get comfortable.
