Try A Little Self-Love Today

Bella Breakdown

We hear a lot about self-love and self-care and how important practicing both of those things are to our mental health. But, maybe we aren’t thinking about how we can do little things everyday to make ourselves feel more confident. Having self-confidence is really important to your overall success, whether its at work, with friends, or with people you are meeting for the first time. There are a few things you can do daily to boost your confidence and get you on the road to success.

1. Positive Reflection
Sometimes we have a running dialogue of negative thoughts about ourselves going through our heads. For some reason it’s a lot easier to think about than our positive aspects. It is important to stop yourself throughout the day and remind yourself of all of your great qualities.

2. Dress Your Best
This doesn’t mean to dress to the nines. It means, wear clothing that makes you feel great about yourself. We all have that pair of jeans, or shirt that make us feel our best. It’s important to wear that article of clothing, especially if you woke up feeling not so great.

3. Short Term Goals
Setting short term goals, even writing them out on a to-do list, and then hitting those goals daily, weekly, or monthly is a great way to feel productive and efficient. This definitely helps to lift that confidence.
