Oprah Gave Mindy Kaling The Most *Extra* Baby Gift Ever

If you are friends with Oprah, you certainly live a blessed life. Not that we know, since we’re not, like, close with Oprah… nor have we ever hung out with Oprah… nor have we even met Oprah. But in our imagination we are definitely best friends. Mindy Kaling revealed that her co-star and new best friend Oprah gave her the most “amazing“ gift ever for her daughter Katherine, who Mindy welcomed in December.

“The gift was a bookcase, prettier than any professional doll house you have ever seen that contained 100 of the classic essential books in children’s literature. And I held my baby up to it and I said, ‘Did you see what Miss Winfrey did for you?’ Each book has ‘Katherine’s Book Club’ on it. Apparently, the gift didn’t quite meet Oprah‘s standards. “It wasn’t as perfect as I wanted it to be,” Winfrey said. Hey, Oprah, we will gladly take all your less than perfect gifts if you are looking to add anyone to your gift-giving list.
