Everything We Know About The Jonas-Chopra Wedding

Bella Breakdown

While everything is still very hush hush, rumor has it that Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra may be tying the knot this weekend. The couple has been engaged since July, and Jonas recently flew to Delhi, India to spend the Thanksgiving holiday with Chopra’s family. The two were spotted getting extra cozy, and witnesses even saw them attend a Puja ceremony, which a prayer ritual to commemorate a special event, at Chopra’s mother’s house in Mumbai.

Speculators assume this is the event that kicks off the wedding festivities, and the two looked stunning in the first set of wedding garb, a blush kurta pyjama for Nick and an embellished blue kurta for Priyanka. Brother Joe Jonas and his fiancée Sophie Turner were also in attendance.

Jonas and Chopra will have at least two ceremonies to honor their Hindu and Christian backgrounds. The Sangeet, Mehendi and Haldi ceremonies are parts of traditional Hindu wedding tradition. It is rumored that a Christian ceremony will take place on December 3rd.

All of the events are expected to be beautiful and classy, much like Chopra’s prior wedding festivities. She held her bridal shower at Tiffany’s Blue Box Cafe in New York City and partied in Amsterdam for her bachelorette party. She’s given small hints about her wedding dress, as she wore form-fitted white dresses with lots of feather detailing to both parties.

So everyone keep an eye on your social media accounts this weekend, as you could see a Jonas wedding pop up in your feed. No details have been confirmed, but we do know that this couple doesn’t take things very slow.

“The couple got engaged two months after dating. They’ve met each other’s families and had a bridal shower and bachelorette party in a very short period of time,” a source told Entertainment Tonight. “For Priyanka and Nick, they know that they love one another and are going to be married, so they don’t see the appeal in waiting too long.”
