How to Fake It… A Blowout!

What? You don’t have oodles of time and money to spend getting your hair blow dried at the new blowout bar every other day. Here’s a big surprise… we don’t either! That’s why we love this little cheat. With a curling iron and a little extra effort you can have your hair looking movie star ready in no time!

Start by gathering the mohawk section, the center strip going down the middle of your head, and clip it up and out of the way. Separate a sup section at the front and hold straight up, spray with a heat protectant styling spray and curl away from the face with a 2” curling iron.

When you release it, hold the curl in it’s round shape and pin it up on the top of your head. Repeat with the rest for the hair in the mohawk, making smaller subsections, combing, spraying, curling and pinning.

Next your’e going to move to the sides, take big sections because you want it to look like a blow out, not like you’re hair is really curly.

Curl the sections away from your face, pin in place and allow to cool for as long as you can.

Unpin the sections, tousle with your fingers and enjoy all the compliments you’ll be getting on your blow dry!
