They Might Be Too Into You

Bella Breakdown

We all love the beginning stages of a relationship. You have butterflies all of the time, you love when they text and call you. Everything is romantic and exciting. Sometimes we really have our rose colored glasses on, and aren’t able to see when certain behaviors are actually really big red flags that could lead to larger issues down the road.

1. Pet Names
Cutesy pet names too early on in the relationship are actually red flags for a few reasons. First of all they could be completely disingenuous, and if they’re not it could actually be a sign that the person is too clingy and needy.

2. Ditching Friends
If your partner is cancelling pre-made plans with friends to spend time with you this can actually be a bad sign. It might seem sweet, but it is really important to maintain friendships in a relationship. That way there is no resentment created later down the line. Maintaining friendships is also a sign that the person has their own life which is a good thing!

3. Too Much Communication
Communication is key, however, if your new partner is texting you and calling you constantly it’s important that you know this is a red-flag. They are being needy, and it could definitely be a sign of a possessiveness.
