Sometimes the best adventure happens is taking the road that is often less traveled, you can also apply this unspoken travel rule with discovering new music. Listening to new artists can help inspire your playlist and we’ve got a list of new artists to try.
Labrinth is an emerging artist that you might recognize from some popular collaborations with Sia, Diplo, Zendaya, and more. Labrinth is the composer for the popular HBO series starring Zendaya, “Euphoria” and shortly after created a collaboration album “LSD” with Diplo and Sia. Labrinth’s music genre would be under ethereal electronic with unique vocals, it’s great for car rides and days at the beach.
The collab music group featuring Labrinth, Sia, and Diplo teamed up to create LSD with their self-titled “LSD” album. This collab group only has only one album so far but the songs feature the remarkable voices of singers Sia and Labrinth with Diplo working on the production of the songs with Labrinth as a producer partner. The album features songs that are great for chilling with a few friends or a huge party.
Taylor Swift is known for being a country-pop princess but her most recent album “folklore” will have you see the young artist in a new light. Most of Swift’s albums feature fun pop songs but Swift bares it all for soft yet strong songs. The “folklore” album features amazing vocals with more of a country sound rather than pop featuring more acoustic music.
If you’re looking for some hype songs for the gym or commute to work, you’ll like the hip-hop artist SAINt JHN (yes that’s the correct spelling). My favorite songs by him are “All I Want Is A Yacht” and “Roses – Imanbek Remix” that are on my gym hype playlist.
The EDM DJ and producer Topic has a great playlist of songs that will add a pep in your step when you’re in the gym or going on a run. You might have heard Topic’s popular song “Breaking Me” that is only gaining popularity and is one to add to your favorites playlist.
