This generation is notorious for spending hours at a time bent over their computer – much like you are now (ahem) – but with this simple yoga pose, Eagle, you’ll feel that tension vanish. It’s broken down into three steps to work the neck, hips and the legs.

Start by crossing your elbows over each other and then bend at the elbows. Bring the backs of the hands so they touch or if you like, you can wrap the hands all the way around one another. Pause here for a deep breath and stretch the upper back.

Next add the chair pose to add a little bit of strength to the legs by bending your knees while keeping your back upright and feet firmly planted. For an even deeper hip opening you can take you opposite leg from top arm and cross it over your standing leg until the back of your foot is wrapped around your leg.

Come out of this pose by straightening the legs, unwrapping your arms with a nice stretch. Repeat on the other side and enjoy you’re newly loosened neck muscles. Enjoy it after work tonight!
