Taco Bell Is Dealing With A Shortage Of Tortillas

There’s a sad moment in history happening at Taco Bell. The fast food chain has revealed that there is currently a shortage of tortillas at some of their locations, which is now being called the “Tortillapocalypse.”

“We are working diligently to replenish the supply of our tortillas (used for products like quesadillas and burritos) in those restaurants,” the chain restaurant said in a statement.

Sadly, there’s no information on why Taco Bell is coming up short on tortillas, but like all good businesses, they are now using it as a way to market other menu items. Stating they “encourage fans to try any of our other delicious menu items like the Power Menu Bowl or Cheesy Gordita Crunch in the meantime.”

However, like most breaking news social media wasted no time expressing their opinions and concerns on the shortage. “While everyone is tweeting about stupid useless shit there is a nationwide tortilla shortage at almost all taco bells,” one Twitter user wrote.

Another wrote, “so taco bell is having a tortilla shortage and the end of the world is closer than ever.”
