No summer party is complete without a delightful (and preferably alcoholic) refreshment! If you’ve got a crowd, making cocktails one by one can turn from fun and festive to messy and difficult real quick. Instead, why not trying serving a pitcher make-ahead sangria for your next outdoor bash?
All you need to whip up a batch is:
1 1/2 c. herbs
1/4 c. ginger
3 tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 c. orange liqueur
1 bottle of white wine
Start by preparing your fruit, go for the ripest fruit you can find, don’t feel like you need to stick to the ingredients listed above, that’s just what we went with. You’re going to need about 6 cups of fruit cut into chunks about 1 1/2” so feel free to mix and match amounts between you fruits with what you have.
Add your fruit, ginger and herbs to a glass container and pour the lemon juice, orange liqueur and bottle of white wine overtop. Give everything a good stir, mashing the fruit and ginger to release the flavor and allow to sit 1 hr to overnight for the best flavor.
Serve over ice and enjoy!
