Miley Cyrus Performs For Intimate Tiny Desk Concert

Miley Cyrus is known for her unique performances on stage but her latest performance took place in a tiny bedroom for the Tiny Desk [Home] concert series. The series has presented more traditional staging for artists but Miley Cyrus decided to minimize a performance set literally into a tiny teenage girl’s bedroom.

Cyrus started the performance with a new cover for the artist with “Fade Into You” by Mazzy Star followed by two of Cyrus’ original songs. Cyrus finished the three-song set with her song “Golden G String” from the ‘Plastic Hearts’ album and her latest collaboration single with Dua Lipa “Prisoner.”

The Tiny Desk concert series is available on NPR Music featuring intimate video performances that are recorded at the desk of “All Songs Considered” host Bob Boilen (some performances at home due to COVID-19 pandemic.) A majority of performers surround the desk but Cyrus decided to utilize it as a mini bedroom set true to her eccentric style.

There is a new concert available every day on NPR Music for the Tiny Desk series with artists including Muzz, Lous And The Yakuza, Sevana, Future Islands, and more. The Tiny Desk concert series has changed through the COVID-19 pandemic to at home and outdoor performances including international performances from globalFest.
