Body-Positivity Is On The Rise!

Bella Breakdown

Body-positivity has been a hot topic for the past couple of years and people are finally starting to adopt it. Most of us can think of a time when we went into a fitting room that had awful lighting, and we hated how we looked. Instead of the day being about getting a new blouse for work, it then became about how we hate our body. This is the exact feeling the body positivity movement is trying to eliminate, in men and women alike. As summer is approaching so is bathing suit season. But this summer things are a little different. With increased size representation, men and women both feel more comfortable in their own skin. They also have more retail options and feel better about what they are buying.

Celebrities like Ashley Graham are making a name for plus size models and are emphasizing that you are beautiful no matter what size you are. This is not limited to just women. Plus size male models are also on the rise! So this summer go find yourself a great swimsuit and rock what your mama gave you!
