Just last week we wrote about the inspirational parenting dynamic between Chris Pratt and ex-wife, Anna Faris. The two have an adorable five-year-old son, Jack, who will now be welcoming a step mother to the family. Yes, Pratt and girlfriend of less than a year, Katherine Schwarzenegger, announced their engagement in the perfect, low-key way. An Instagram post of course!

Much of the couple’s relationship has been private, so the sweet photo and caption show a very tender, sweet moment in their lives.

“Sweet Katherine, so happy you said yes!” Pratt wrote. “I’m thrilled to be marrying you. Proud to live boldly in faith with you. Here we go!”

Faris, showing true class, and exhibiting a positive relationship with her co-parent, issued a message of congratulations to the happy couple. “I’m so happy for you both! Congratulations!” Faris commented on the Instagram photo.

Faris and Pratt were together for nine years, and many things contributed to the split. Many think it was disputes over fame and religion. Pratt is a devoted Christian, and as evidenced in his Instagram caption, he seems to have found a life of faith with his new fiance.
