Holiday Drinking Do’s and Don’ts

Bella Breakdown

For better or for worse, the holidays are all about excess, especially when it comes to drinking. Keep your celebrations classy with a few helpful tips for the season:

Do stick with one kind of booze on any given night, liquor, beer, wine, whatever, the one exception being the perfect pairing of a shot and a beer.

Do try to take it easy at work parties, give yourself a one to two drink maximum. Keep business, business and pleasure, pleasure.

Don’t hit it hard and start the night with whisky on the rocks, go with something lighter, a highball perhaps, something low alcohol. A great go-to party start is Campari and soda.

Do live a little and drink Champagne whenever you get the chance, especially the good stuff! We also love a good Champagne cocktail.

Don’t dress like you’re still in college, it’s amazing how civilized people act when they’re wearing a nice suit or dress instead of sweats.

Don’t ever even think about call someone out for not drinking, that’s entirely their choice. Be respectful this holiday season.

Do go ahead and drink the punch, but remember, just because it’s pink and bubbly, it’s still potent, so proceed with caution.

Do be smart and drink a glass of water between every drink, you’ll thank us in the morning when you’re the first out of better feeling like a morning bird.

There you have it, the perfect guide of do’s and don’ts for our fabulous Bellas this holiday season ; )
