Fringe has evolved. From it’s early hippie incarnation, fringe is front and center this season looking sleek and bold. We’ve seen it in Fashion Week from the likes of a fabulous Michael Kors mid-length fringe skirt, to runway accessories like Altuzarra’s full-waisted fringe belt and Oscar De La Renta’s floor length fringed golden gown.
The look has also made it’s way to the red carpet on some of our favorite starlets like Olivia Palermo in an ultra-chic Michael Kors fringed skirt, Olivia Wilde in a fringed vintage evening gown and we couldn’t get enough of Liv Tyler in a super cool Stella McCartney dress with black fringe detailing.
This trend is also super wearable, try some of these pieces like a fabulous colorful leather purse like the Milly Bag or invest is the 10 Crosby Derek Lam Bootie for a more refined take on the trend.
