JK Rowling Reveals New HP Gossip

Nerd alert! If you are a Harry Potter lover like me, and you grew up obsessively reading the books the moment they were released, and then reading them over and over again until the next one came out, then you still probably secretly (or not so secretly) crave Harry Potter info at all times.

As all of us HP nerds know, JK Rowling revealed to her readers about 12 years ago that Dumbledore was homosexual. What’s more, he may have been in love with Grindelwald, who ended up being the worst villain since Voldemort.

When Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them came out, fans (including myself) were interested in seeing how the romantic relationship between Voldemort and Grindelwald developed. So far, after the first two movies, the lack of romance has left fans wanting more.

In response, Rowling revealed that, yes, Grindelwald and Dumbledore did have a sexual relationship. However, she also stated, “I’m less interested in the sexual side — though I believe there is a sexual dimension to this relationship — than I am in the sense of the emotions they felt for each other, which ultimately is the most fascinating thing about all human relationships.”
