Sweet iced coffee is one of the hallmarks of a great spring or summer morning. What’s so fun is that everyone has their own little tips for making it the best, so today we’re sharing our top 5 tricks for making the best iced coffee you’ve ever had.
1. Coffee Ice Cubes – Who ever finishes their entire pot of coffee to the last drop? Instead of tossing that down the drain, let it cool then pour it in an ice cube tray. We like to add a touch of International Delight’s Coffeehouse Inspired Caramel Macchiato flavor for an extra touch.
2. Cold Brew Coffee – This method will provide a sweet, tasty iced coffee with up to 67% less acidy than hot brewed coffee. Just put course ground coffee into a pitcher, fill with cold water, and let sit 12 hours. Strain and enjoy! This DIY is great if you’re hosting a large breakfast, just make the night before.
3. Vanilla Coffee Frappé – At $5 a tumbler, those Frappuccinos you can’t do without really start to add up, so this summer why don’ you try making some at home? Pour about a cup of coffee into your blender. Then, add crushed ice and about ¼ c. of International Delight Vanilla Coffee Creamer and blend until frothy. Try topping your Vanilla Coffee Frappé with a swirl of whip and a dash of cinnamon for a touch of morning decadence!
4. Booze It Up! – Start your morning off right with a splash of the good stuff. Add a bit of creamer with your Kahlua or Baileys for a giddy kind of morning. You might want to save this tipsy tip for the weekend though.
