Looking for a quick and easy but still absolutely delicious meal for your whole family (even that picky eater of yours)? Try this classic version of the grilled cheese. And if you are looking up your game and host a luncheon, we have a crazy good modified version of the cheesy sandwich as well.

So lets talk classic. Grate some Monterey Jack and slice a couple of pieces of cheddar cheese. Use a butter knife to spread mayonnaise (yes, mayonnaise) onto each side of the bread. We use mayo instead of butter because it actually makes the bread crispier and a little more delicious. Also make sure you are using white bread with soft crust. We have founds that it the ultimate grilled cheese bread. Create a layer of cheddar and then sprinkle the Monterey jack on top. Add some butter to your medium-low heated pan and then place the sandwich or sandwiches into the pan. Cover and cook for four minutes on each side. Voila, the perfect classic grilled cheese for your kiddos.

Now this one is the adult grilled cheese. Grate some parmesan and slice some mozzarella. Again, we are going to put mayo on each side of the bread to make it crispy. Now for the fun part! Spread some pesto on the bottom layer and add a layer of sliced mozzarella and roasted red peppers. Add the finishing touch, a sprinkle of parmesan cheese. Throw some butter in a pan and throw your sandwiches in.

After extensive research, we have found that cutting your grilled cheese into triangles makes it taste even better.
