Crave-Worthy Cake in a Mere Matter of Minutes

Got cake on the brain? Lucky for you, your craving can be satisfied in less than 10 minutes with the help of an unlikely piece of equipment: the microwave. Watch the video to see just how easy they are to make (you might even have all the ingredients on hand), and then experiment with fun mix-ins and toppings.

Here’s What You Need

• 2 TBS Unsalted Butter Melted
• 1 Beaten Egg
• 2 TBS Milk
• 1 TSP Pure Vanilla Extract
• 1/4 Cup Granulated Sugar
• 6 TBS Self-Rising Flour
• 1/4 TSP Salt
• Various Toppings or Add-Ins of Choice
• Store Bought or Homemade Frosting of Choice

Here’s What To Do

Whisk the butter, egg, milk, vanilla extract, sugar, flour and salt together in a large bowl.

Fill mug half way up with the cake batter and microwave for 1 1/2 – 2 1/2 minutes, remove cake and let cool.

Place  frosting into a zip top bag with a little whole cut in the corner. Then, squeeze the bag over the mug cake while moving in a circular-motion to create a beautifully frosted cake. Sprinkle on some mini candies, chocolate chips or whatever other topping floats your boat and enjoy.
