Learn 3 Stress-Busting Yoga Moves

Sometimes we carry so much tension in the head, neck and shoulders from stress that we didn’t even know we were stressing about!

These moves are a great way of relieving all that pressure and getting back to your equilibrium without all those stressors hanging on.

Start at the front of the mat in Eagle Pose, which is great not only for focus but for relieving all that tension in the shoulder by crossing one arm over the other and twisting your body.

Next, unwind and open into Warrior Three. Point one leg straight out and balance on your other leg. If you can do this pose then you can deal with everything else that’s going on in your life.

From there step back into Standing Straddle Forward Bend and fold forward, letting all that tension out of your head neck and shoulders.

Stay in each of these poses a good 5-10 breaths and then step back and repeat the sequence with the opposite leg on top. Feeling all the weight of the word you had on your shoulder slip away? Perfect!
