We all have old T-shirts laying around, so what better way to make use of them to fill out your wardrobe with some much needed summer tanks? This really simple DIY has just a few steps and all you need is your t-shirt and a pair of fabric scissors.
How to DIY a Tank Top
Start by cutting one armhole from the pit to the neck, then take the armhole and lay it on the other side and repeat the same cut. This is to make sure your armholes match.
After that, just pull on the fabric so it rolls under and gives your tank a finished look.
If you want to rock the muscle-T vibe then you can leave it how it is, but if you’re going for more of a racer-back chic look then take one of the sleeves and cut a long piece of fabric.
From here, gather the back of the shirt at the neck and tie the piece of fabric around it.
