Dolly Parton’s Christmas On The Square
Dolly Parton produced a musical Christmas story with the help of Netflix starring Christine Baranski (playing Regina) and directed by Debbie Allen. “Dolly Parton’s Christmas On The Square” follows the story of Regina (a modern female Scrooge) who plans to sell a small town, disregarding the protest of the town citizens until visited by an angel that guides Regina to do the right thing.

Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey
This musical Christmas movie is a unique story of an inventor, Jeronicus Jangle (played by Forest Whitaker), who is on the verge of creating the next best-selling toy until his ideas are stolen by his young apprentice, Gustafson (played by Keegan-Michael Key), influenced by an evil toy Don Juan Diego (voiced by Ricky Martin).
Overtime Jangle loses nearly everything including his daughter Jessica (played by Anika Noni Rose) and meeting his granddaughter Journey (played by Madalen Mills) until he is united with Journey to go on an adventure to create his masterpiece. This movie has its sad parts but the music uplifts the soul for a unique holiday story turned adventure.
Dance Dreams: Hot Chocolate Nutcracker
The dancing legend and dance company owner Debbie Allen made her claim to “Fame” literally in the 1980 film starring as the dance choreographer, changing the world of dance forever. Debbie Allen is working her magic on changing the world of dance once again with her interpretation of the classic Nutcracker ballet with her holiday show of the Hot Chocolate Nutcracker.
The Nutcracker is one of the most well-known ballet holiday-themed performances but Debbie Allen re-creates the classic ballet as a global dancing experience with one of the biggest casts asssmebled. This Netflix special also features some of the premier dancers of the Debbie Allen Dance Academy and reflects the journey of black dancers including Debbie Allen herself.
The Christmas Chronicles 2
The dynamic on-screen husband and wife duo, Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn, as Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus for the sequel to “The Christmas Chronicles.” The movie follows the journey of a cynical teen rediscovering her belief in Santa Claus after a troublemaker threatens to cancel Christmas forever.
