Perfect Halloween Treats For The Kids

You have probably noticed all of the Halloween decorations and bags of candy starting to take over shelves of your local drug store. It seems like once school is back in session, stores can’t help but get a jump on all of the upcoming holidays.

If you are anything like me, you’re probably excited about all of the Halloween paraphernalia. It gets you thinking about costumes, candy, and maybe even throwing a great kids Halloween party. Here are two really awesome treats you can make that will set your party apart from the rest.

1. Halloween Brownie Pizza
Bake your brownie in a shallow pie pan, and just like your favorite pizza, top with your favorite chopped chocolate candies, and chocolate sauce.

2. Spider Truffle Cookies

These cute cookies consist of putting one package of oreos in a food processor.
Set one cup of crumbs aside, process the rest with cream cheese.
Scoop, place on a pan, and freeze.
Take a package of sugar cookie batter, mix with cookie crumbs.
Place on a cookie sheet, indent in the middle, bake according to package.
Take your chilled cookie balls and cover with melted chocolate, and top with candy eyes. Place on top of indented cookies!
