The first Archewell Production in partnership with Netflix will be ‘Heart of Invictus’ (the project’s working title) for a docuseries following athletes preparing for the Invictus Games that is set to take place in 2022. The Paralympics-style competition, The Invictus Games, for wounded veterans and service personnel was founded by Prince Harry in 2014.

Prince Harry described the project as a way to showcase these talented athletes to audiences around the world with the stories of several athletes’ journey to The Hauge in the Netherlands for the 2022 competition. Prince Harry is excited to share the uplifting stories of these athletes with families around the world while teaching more about the Invictus Games.

The series will feature several episodes following competitors through training while revealing powerful stories of hope and resilience. The series will also feature behind-the-scenes planning with the event organizers they prepare for the games postponed by next Spring.

The Invictus Games organizers will be working to prepare for the games as they partner with each nation’s team to support competitors in the upcoming games. There are limited details on the premiere date as this is an ongoing project but it will be the first of many projects to come from Archewell Productions.
