Southwest Offers Unbeatable Deals To Hawaii

There is an unofficial saying among Southwest fans: “Southwest is the best.” It is true that their low fares, lack of hidden fees, two free checked bags and one free carry on, fast and friendly service, and expanding destination list are hard to beat.

And yet, they couldn’t help but up the ante. They just announced on Monday that they will now be offering flights to Hawaii, with one ways from California starting as low as $49. Round-trip tickets total for under $200, with competing airlines offering round trip fares for over $400.

One customer of Southwest reported on Twitter that he got a round trip flight from the Bay Area in California to Hawaii for as low as $275. Later the same day Alaska Air dropped their rates to Hawaii for similar prices, influencing other airline rates.

Come on Southwest, give other airlines a shot at greatness. (Or not… you could just keep being you and being awesome.) So, get your Hawaii tickets while they are hot, folks!
