The 71st Annual Met Gala took place on Monday and while some stars don’t seem to care for the fashion event others look forward to this one event all year long. This year’s theme was “camp” and though there were some obvious misses, celebs like Lady Gaga, Zendaya and Billy Porter nailed this year’s look in absolute style.

Tasked with the fulfilling the look of exaggeration, extravagant, ironic and tongue-in-cheek this year’s theme seemed like it was made for Lady Gaga. Along with her chart-topping hits, the singer is most well-known for her over-the-top looks and she made sure to come through at the fashion event.

Starting her look off with an elegant pink dress, the singer put on a red carpet performance with not one, not two, not three but four different looks. However, Gaga’s look was far from being the most talked about of the evening. Soon after opening the event ‘Pose’ star Billy Porter arrived in true royal style.

After more celebs made their way down the red carpet, Katy Perry decided to shed some light on her idea of “camp.” Literally and figuratively with a Moschino chandelier-as-dress designed by Jeremy Scott. Like Gaga, Perry is known for her more campier style and the singer did not disappoint.
