The Duchess Of Cornwell Welcomes Members For Her New Book Club

Bella Breakdown

Duchess Camilla of Cornwall is known for her love of reading among the royal family contributing to several literacy charities and annually attends the ceremony for the Man Booker Prize. Duchess Camilla has occupied more time to reading with her pandemic-era reading lists beloved by many so she decided to create her own book club.

Duchess Camilla was inspired by former U.S. President Barack Obama to release a list of her book recommendations in April and another in August. Both book lists garnered so much popularity the Duchess decided to start a royal book club, the Duchess of Cornwall’s Reading Room.

Duchess Camilla launched an Instagram account for duchessofcornwallsreadingroom on New Year’s Eve with one of the first books to be featured The Boy, the Mole, the Fox, and the Horse by Charlie Mackesy. Along with reading recommendations, the book club will also feature interviews and open discussions featuring Duchess Camilla’s favorite authors.

The next list of book recommendations will be available on the official Instagram account on January 15.
