If you have gone apple picking and need something great to make with the fruits of your labor, look no further than this delicious French Apple Tart.

Beef Stew

When I think of hearty foods, one that comes to mind is stew. You can use any kind of meat or even go vegetarian when you load your stew with potatoes and lentils. Also, the types of meat used in stews are typically less expensive because they are the tougher cuts. This doesn’t matter because slow cooking them tenderizes the meat. This beef stew recipe will warm you up from the inside out.

Harvest Salad

There are many ways to make a salad just as delicious with fall vegetables. Adding roasted carrots and parsnips, butternut squash, nuts, and pumpkin seeds gives your salad an authentic fall flavor. Try this Fall Harvest Salad.
