VR Arcades Are Taking Over

As kids we grew up loving the arcades expecially when we got to go with our friends in the summer! And now, arcades as we know it are pretty much a thing of the past…and we wish they would come back! However, we remain hopeful that VR will be the vehicle at which they can make a comeback!

Viveland is HTC’s very first dedicated VR arcade and it is located in Taipei, which is the capital of Taiwan! For literally only $7 you can play all different types of games over and over alone our with a group of firends. But are these experiences enough for users to keep coming back week after week? Some believe only if you can play with friends.

The single player experience wasn’t as fun as playing in a room filled with your friends. So if HTC can realize that it’s the social component that matters the most they will be successful.
