Natalia Dyer of ‘Stranger Things’ Is Just As Upset With Her Character’s Choices As You Are

I know that for most, when you hear the name Nancy from ‘Stranger Things’ you automatically think R.I.P BARB. But take a moment to meet IRL star who plays Nancy, Natalia Dyer, who is WAY MORE than just that girl who totally let her best friend get attacked by an alien monster to tongue punch that dude with the poofy hair.

Before taking her role in the Netflix smash, she studied up on classic 80’s flicks like Nightmare on Elmstreet and Close Encounters of The Third Kind to really understand the culture back then. She even mentions how she enjoys her characters style which is was more of the laid back 80’s vibe, though personally I would’ve opted for more neon but that is neither here nor their.

Natalie even feels remorse for her character’s decision to totally break the girl code with Barb, and points out how most of the show is about her desperately trying to find and rescue her. Which brings up a whole other thing, was no one else weirded out that Nancy was LITERALLY the only one looking for Barb?

Anyway… Unfortunately she has no inside scoop on what’s going on with everyone’s favorite little baldheaded sweetheart, Eleven, other than the same old fan theories we’ve all obsessively read up on.

No shock on this next fun fact, Dyer loved the shows soundtrack just like the rest of the world. *hums should I stay or should I go* Finally, as if Natalie couldn’t get anymore relatable, she’s even a fan of Orange is The New Black!
