Wednesday morning, FBI agents served YouTuber, Jake Paul, with a search warrant for his Calabasas property and raided his house. A representative of the FBI disclosed the affidavit in support of the search warrant was sealed at the time of delivery and was prohibited from commenting on the nature of this investigation.

Paul hosted a huge party at his Calabasas mansion that was over a safe capacity limit and restrictions enforced in regards to COVID-19. Paul also received a lot of backlash on social media for having too many people in a packed space and a majority of guests didn’t wear face masks.

Mayor Alica Weintraub expressed her rage over Paul’s poor choice in throwing an unsafe party despite the rising cases of COVID-19 in the area. Mayor Weintraub says that she was very upset someone would choose to host an outrageous event in the community.

Neighboring residents in Calabasas filed complaints that the party results in tons of people walking and gathering on their street. There were videos of the house party that landed Paul in hot water yet again.

Earlier this year in June, Paul was charged with a misdemeanor for attending a riot at a mall in Pheonix and Paul claimed he was only there to film. It seems for not it seems unclear whether Paul would face criminal charges in response to his property being raided.
