To start you’re going to want to cut up and melt the chocolate. And the best way to do that is to use a double boiler. But don’t worry; if you don’t have one another great alternative is to just use a pot and a bowl. In the pot add an inch of steaming water and place the bowl on top and the chocolate inside the bowl. Now to get the deepest and richest chocolate flavor your going to want to use dark chocolate that has a high cocoa percentage around 60%.

Next, mix together the eggs, cocoa powder, rye flour, and be sure to add in the wet ingredients all together. Psst…just a little secret, add the flour last so it only gets mixed a little.

Then, after your ingredients are all mixed, spread it out evenly into a baking pan and drizzle some salt on to make the chocolate flavor pop!

Last but not least, you’re going to want to stick them in the oven and wait for them to be done. Now there’s a little trick to making sure you take the brownies out at the same time. You’re going to want to look for the wobble, yes the wobble (make sure you can see the center shake a little.

And wha-la! Just like that your brownies are ready to enjoy!
